Anxiety help tips

Stress management

Try to limit the amount of stress you are putting on yourself. Give yourself a break once in a while. Give yourself some grace for not getting as much done as you had hoped.

Exercise

For so many things a little exercise can do amazing things. Just saying enough is enough and going for a short walk can have a huge impact.

I’m not saying to go to the gym for 4 hours or anything like that. Even 10 minutes of hitting the weights could help. It will at least change your state of mind and make you focus on something else for a bit.

Get support

Talk to someone you trust. Find a group that can share some of the same things you are going through. You will find you are not alone in your situation.

Relaxation techniques

Meditate for 10 to 15 minutes a day. You don’t need to be a master. Just focus on getting your mind quiet.

Try some yoga. Put on a beginner yoga class from YouTube and don’t worry about looking silly.

Deep breathing. Take deep breaths and slow down. Google box breathing and give it a shot.

Take a hot bath.

Get better sleep

Before bed make sure you have time to relax. Don’t go to bed all wound up. When you go to bed, think of all the good things that happened earlier in the day and be grateful for them.

The exercise you have started will help you fall asleep faster as well.

Have a better diet

Try to eat healthier. Slow down and plan your meals instead of just getting that fast sack every day.

The best help I can recommend

Read! Reading something of value can help with anxiety more than you know. Especially something that is geared toward helping with anxiety.

The best recommendation I have is to read “Awaken the Giant Within” by Tony Robbins.

This book will help you with way more than anxiety. It will blow your mind what you didn’t know about how much you can do. If you want to make a real lasting change and get rid of fear and worry read this book and do the exercises.
